Do you have EcoWorx®, ReWorxTM, Shaw-manufactured resilient, or other carpet to be recycled?

Shaw will take back EcoWorx carpet, ReWorx hybrid flooring products and Shaw-manufactured resilient products. And if you are purchasing new Shaw flooring from one of our commercial brands, we have services available to reclaim carpet whether the product is Shaw's or another manufacturer's.

Safe AND Circular

Our 20+ year commitment to Cradle to Cradle® design principles began with the launch of EcoWorx carpet tile in 1999. Our goal: Design products made for people AND the planet, safe AND circular. 

Today, almost 90 percent of the products Shaw makes are Cradle to Cradle Certified®  - having been assessed by a third party for performance against five key attributes - material health, product circularity, clean air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship, and social fairness.

What Happens to Reclaimed Flooring?


Once EcoWorx, ReWorx or Shaw-manufactured resilient flooring is ready to be removed from the floor, it can be converted into new flooring.

And for other carpet products, it can potentially be used for other industries. For the flooring products Shaw has as part of our Environmental Guarantee, the product type is ground into small bits and extruded into pellets to become the foundation of the next generation of itself. And the use cycle begins again!
