Shaw Industries’ Becky Boley Receives Carpet & Rug Institute Award

Becky Boley, corporate controller at Shaw Industries Group, Inc. (Shaw), received the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Joseph J. Smrekar Memorial Award at the organization’s annual meeting in November.  

Established in 1998, the award honors Dr. Joseph Smrekar, who set the standard for service to CRI and the carpet industry.  

“Becky Boley’s tireless dedication and leadership have made a lasting impact on our industry,” said Russ DeLozier, president of CRI. “As the CRI’s board treasurer for the past four years, Ms. Boley’s expertise has carefully guided the CRI, and this award reflects her outstanding service to our organization and its members.”   

Boley’s career in the flooring industry spans more than 30 years, with 12 years at Shaw and four years serving as the CRI board treasurer.  

 “Becky has been an incredible leader and a champion for excellence — both here at Shaw and with CRI,” said Jim Kirkpatrick, Shaw’s executive vice president and CFO. “As board treasurer, she partnered closely with the CRI leadership team and board of directors, bringing her insight and dedication to the table. Her contributions set a high bar for all of us and reflect the very best of our industry.”
