The Activities

Below is a preview of available activities. All activities take place on Saturday, April 25, with the exception of spa appointments, which are available Thursday through Saturday. Additional activity details will be provided in registration.

During registration, you will select one activity for yourself and one for your guest. Some activities are subject to minimum and/or maximum participation requirements.

Please note: Activity selections made at registration are final and cannot be changed.


 

GRAND CANYON DAY TRIP

Guests will depart Phoenix in the morning for their journey up to one of the seven wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon. The drive to the South Rim is approximately four-hours and is the most visited part of the Grand Canyon.

Upon arrival, guests will get to walk around the different lookout points and take photos while exploring. The group will be dropped near the Grand Canyon Village where they can eat, visit the gift shop, and explore the museum giving details on the village and the canyon.

SEDONA DAY TRIP

Guests will depart Phoenix in the morning for their quick two-hour road trip to Sedona. During the drive, a guide will be available to educate guests on some of the history of Sedona and bring artifacts to share along the way.

Upon arrival into the city, the group will visit unique locations including Tlaquepaque and Main Street. Additional sightseeing spots
include Montezuma's Castle & Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout.

Breathtaking views of the famous red rocks will surround the group as they venture around on their free time. Guests will have time to grab lunch on their own at one of Sedona’s local restaurants and enjoy some time to shop & explore.

After a day of exploring, guests will meet at the drop off location to head back to Phoenix for the evening.

HORSEBACK RIDING

Feel the West come alive as knowledgeable wranglers guide you on a 90-minute trail ride through the panoramic vistas of Arizona’s most famous desert.

As you venture along desert trails winding through towering Saguaro cacti, Mesquite groves and other desert dwellers your guide will talk of the abundant plant and animal life.

RIVER FLOAT

Our Class I river float lets guests explore the unique Sonoran Desert linear oasis, home to over three-quarters of the Southwest's plant and animal species.

Knowledgeable guides offer insights, instruction, and safety. Guests can stay dry in cool seasons or swim in warm weather. We provide various watercraft options to suit both relaxing tours and more challenging adventures.

Camelback Golf Club

Camelback Golf Club features 36 holes across two 18-hole championship courses, the Jason Straka–designed 18-hole, 7,221-yard, par 72 Ambiente Course and the 6,903-yard, par 72 Padre Course. Set amidst rolling fairways and the Camelback foothills, natural beauty, native plants, and grasses combine for a challenging round that can be as punishing as it is rewarding.

The Spa at Camelback Inn

Tucked at the base of Mummy Mountain, The Spa rests on the serene northern edge of JW Marriott Camelback Inn. This newly rennovated, tranquil destination is easy to reach yet feels worlds away. Guests arrive through native gardens and a private entrance, guided by curated landscaping and calm desert air, into a setting designed for stillness and renewal.

Booking Your Flight

Flights for Circle of Distinction are not booked through Navan. Detailed information for booking flights will be included in event registration. 
Please do not book your flight before receiving the registration link.

Ground Transportation

Ground transportation will be provided between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the JW Marriott Camelback Inn on Thursday (arrival) and Sunday (departure).

Upon arrival, please proceed to the baggage claim area for your flight, even if you did not check luggage. At your designated baggage carousel, a representative holding a Circle of Distinction sign will greet you, assist with your luggage, and escort you to your vehicle.

Guests who prefer to use Uber may do so; voucher codes will be provided. You may also rent a vehicle at your own expense for the duration of the event.

You will select your preferred ground transportation method during registration.

Sunday departure may be booked at your leisure. However, hotel check-out is 11am. Transportation will be scheduled from the hotel to the airport until 12pm. If you elect to book your flight leaving after 2pm on Sunday, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the airport.

How will I get from the airport to the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa?

A shuttle service will be provided on Thursday, April 23 from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to the JW Marriott. Departure shuttle service will be available on Sunday, April 26 until 12pm from the JW Marriott to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

What do I do upon my arrival at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa?

Register at the front desk as you normally would at any hotel. You will be asked to provide a credit card for incidentals. Once checked in you are free to enjoy the property until the welcome dinner Thursday evening.

What is the attire for the weekend?

Resort casual will be appropriate throughout the weekend. Awards dinner is business casual or cocktail attire.

What is the typical weather for the area in April?

In late April, Scottsdale experiences warm, sunny, and dry weather, with average daily highs in the mid-to-upper 80s℉ and cooler evenings in the mid-50s to low 60s℉. The welcome dinner on Thursday evening will be outside.
